Complete Background & MVR Checks
Pass a Criminal Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record Check.
Driver requirements
To become an Airspace Commander, you'll need to meet the following criteria:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Own a smartphone (Android or iPhone 7 and up)
- Active in-state driver's license
- Pass Criminal Background Check and Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Must have valid vehicle insurance that does NOT exclude business usage

General Delivery Information
We refer to our independent contractor drivers as "Commanders".
Once your account is activated, you are given access to the "Driver Partner" mobile app. You can receive jobs, track earnings and contact our 24/7/365 support team through the app. Additionally, the app will automatically track job progress to minimize status update calls.
As a Commander, you have the complete freedom to choose if you want a job that is offered to you. There is no penalty for declining job offers.
Driving jobs can include a local pickup and dropoff, a local pickup with an airport dropoff, or an airport pickup with a local dropoff. Picking up at the airport requires the driver to be TSA Certified, and these jobs pay at an elevated rate.
While Airspace operates 24/7 due to the time-critical nature of the work we do, most offers occur on weekdays during business hours.
Driver Signup Support
If you completed the driver signup form, the next step is for Airspace to contact you if you are eligible to begin the driver activation process. If you have not been contacted and would like to get an update, please contact partners@airspace.com.
Yes! The more vehicle types you add to your account, such as a cargo van or box truck, the more job offers you become eligible, increasing your potential earnings.
You are granted access to our mobile app once you have successfully completed the driver activation process.
Occupational accident insurance is a policy that provides coverage for work-related injuries and accidents. At Airspace, your safety is our #1 priority so we provide this insurance through the Great American Insurance Group. All drivers must have occupational accident insurance in order to drive with Airspace.
You are not required to use the occupational accident insurance provided by Airspace. If you would like to use the insurance you already have or are going to obtain, you must specifically name Airspace Technologies, Inc. as being endorsed or covered by the policy and provide a copy to partners@airspace.com.
Driver Payment
Earnings vary based on a variety of factors related to each job. Drivers are shown the amount they'll be paid as part of the order details.
Airspace utilizes Bill.com to issue direct deposit and/or checks.
During your driver activation process, Airspace will create your Bill.com account and send you an invitation email with instructions on how to set up direct deposit within the Bill.com platform.
In your free Bill.com account, created by Airspace, you have the ability to track your earnings and update your information such as banking details.
A payment period starts each Saturday at 12:00am PT and ends the following Friday at 11:59pm PT. Payment for the period is then made the next Friday, 7 days after the period ends. Any payment adjustment request must be submitted by the Monday following the pay period by 5:00pm PT.
In our mobile app, you will have access to your job history. Within each job you will see an option to submit an earnings adjustment request for said job.
Payment accuracy is of utmost importance to us. In the event an order is canceled, a driver can contact partners@airspace.com for our Driver Support team to assist with payment.
